This 2026 study builds on our two prior studies from 2023 and 2025 to advance the insights on the important drivers of Canadians' generosity and prosocial behaviours. - The body of knowledge is becoming quite clear: Generosity is socially engineered. It depends on strong(er) social norms, repeated participation, visible examples, belonging, and the socialization/ normalization of generosity over time. – This is the abridged summary of the full research report (available separately).
